I am wondering if the sizes are true to size... don't know whether to order larger size?

I ordered online recently and I will not be doing so again. I got three items, one of which was true to size, one of which was slightly ill-fitting, and one of which was so strangely shaped I am not sure who it would fit. Had there been any reviews on the website, I would not have ordered anything. I wish I had looked at other sites first.
