Should i be worried if a photogapher from model mayhem is asking me to come to a resort for a photo shoot. All expenses paid by him.

Yes. Legit photogs don't work alone. Unless you can verify their body of work with other disinterested parties in the business you should not go anywhere. Ask for contracts and references. And tax records - since friends and other pervs can vouch for each other. Insurance policies / certificates of insurance? Legit players can provide these.
