Question: Why all the bad reviews? Wow I can't believe after reading about the owner that he is where he is at by ripping people off? Can someone shed some light on this subject?

Just in the past week, I was having trouble do on-line booking with Travelocity.com due to their technical web failure. There was no alternative way so I followed Ebates.com 's suggestion, finished the cruise booking over the phone first, then send an email with explanation and attached invoice. But afterward Ebates.com denied to count it as a valid purchase cause it wasn't paid on-line. What's your common on this? What should I do to earn my cash back? I did get an active shopping trip number just before I called Travelocity.com to book the cruise... Please help me retrieve the 15% cash back!

Hey Max! Hope all is well over there man! Can you ask your leadership team about implementing a "Highest Cashback Guarantee? I am so surprised that you dont do this already. Price matching would be YUUGE! Its basically Event Horizon Total Domination Point of No Return for all customers. Everyone will bow before you. Ebates is DA BOSS of all shopping portals! The tracking accuracy and customer service is TOP NOTCH. The competition should seriously watch their backs I really dont want to use any other shopping portal based on rate. You guys totally blew my mind already. Its like Costco customer service. Or maybe Nordstroms? You have to tell your leadership to match other portals. Then ALL traffic would go to you. This will allow all your customer to NEVER use anyone else again. You dont have to match everyone, but the major players should be price matched! Please MAKE IT SO!

I can't answer about the owner ripping people off. All I know is I have ordered from Rakuten numerous times and have nothing but praise for them. I haven't read the bad reviews but I've gotten nothing but good products.

I'm interested in purchasing, but in reading the poor reviews i'm afraid to make such a large purchase.

I can't tell you I would buy again. I had no help from rakuten when needed. They said they are not responsible for the sellers since they work as an online shopping center. I would suggest you buying at Amazon. I never had problems with them. Regards

I dont know there some wierred how come I just order some jewelry.com and I order two earring only and its just 30.00 dollars. But when I use debates the price went up to high.

I just THOUGHT I did my first ebates purchase through Macy's. I went to the ebates website, clicked on Macy's, purchased a Dooney & Bourke handbag. But when I look at ebates it does not show a purchase. I think I purchased directly through Macy's! How do I know the difference?!

Answer:
If it for some reason doesn't show like it should, I contact ebates. I include a copy of the email with the information from the order placed. Normally I wait until the purchase has arrived. This gives ebates and the store to put the transaction in your account.
