Unable to get in touch with company - Poor customer Service! Beware!

I ordered fabric last night at 4:50 pm online, no where on the main site does it say it is a U.S. company, nor does it say U.S. funds. (This site came up in my google search for Canadian Upholstery). After discussing my order with my sister she explained the duty fees, added to exchange rate, I knew I couldn't afford all the extra charges, I immediately tried to email the company back to cancel. Well, guess what, you CANNOT reply back to their email. So I started calling, well, guess what, they DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE! I waited on hold, it asks if you would like to leave a message, which I did numerous times, but then decided to wait on hold even if it takes all day, welll, GUESS WHAT... it eventually clicks you off so YOU NEVER GET TO SPEAK WITH AN ACTUAL PERSON! I called the next morning and all day, same thing! I then got an email at 3:30 pm stating they had shipped my order! Thanks Fabric Guru, in this time of Covid 19 when finances are ridiculously tight for all of us, you have NO EMPATHY! I bet if I was leaving a message saying I wanted to add to my order they would have attended to that matter immediately! Not impressed with customer service! I cannot comment on quality of fabric. Very disappointed so far!

UPDATE: I received a phone call from Alex 10 minutes after leaving (another message to Fabric Guru) stating I was very upset they had sent out my order and that I was going to write a negative review, she notified me that she called FedEx and requested they return my fabric to the store and that she would refund my order immediately. VERY THANKFUL to Alex! Thankyou for calling me! Communication is key to customer service, wish they had called sooner as I stressed (on top of Pandemic stress) for 20 unnecessary hours.
