Unique gifts for aspiring intellectuals
April 24, 2015

I'm not sure where else you can buy things like the "Psychoanalytic Pencil Set" or the "The Philosopher's Jumper". The School of Life is an odd new brand/company/gift shop/school/media outlet from pop-writer Alain De Botton. They host a YouTube channel and their professed mission is to "develop emotional intelligence through culture". Some of their videos are quite good https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwxNMb28XmpdJpJzF2YRBnfmOva0HE0ZI and their gifts are uniquely useful for those with cleverish friends.

Tip for consumers:

Skip the videos that aren't based on historical figures.
