If I could give negative stars, I would!
January 24, 2025

They really need to come up with the ability to rate them with minus stars! This company, by far, has the absolute worst customer service I have ever gotten. Ever. In my entire life. The worst part is that I'm not even exaggerating! A salesman, Andrew Metoyer, contacted me to get my shop on Uber eats. I was excited cause we're in a small town and I was going to have the chance for delivery, which my customers have been asking for. I worked with him for a bit. We had two separate appointments set up that he never even bothered to show up for, but we finally got everything sorted out. I then found out that I could get Uber through my POS system, so I didn't need to work through him. I would still use Uber Eats but through my POS instead. I figured he'd be ok with that since I was still using Uber. I called him up and explained what was going on and he actually got mad at me! He explained to me in an angry tone that my restaurant would not show up as a featured restaurant unless I worked with him. I told him I was in a tiny little town and only needed delivery for them and that that was ok. He said that the whole purpose was to increase my sales and show up for people that don't know about me. I once again explained to him that I understood that, and I was ok with showing up when people searched for me. He finally got mad enough that he told me to just ship my equipment back and HE HUNG UP ON ME! I was shocked.
I started working with Uber and my POS to integrate. I somehow was signed up for the more expensive plan and I simply wanted to change that before I went live. I didn't need a plan that charged me 25%. I FINALLY – somehow – got someone on the phone. How, I'm not sure because I was never able to get there again. I explained to the agent that I just needed to change my plan. She told me that she would have to escalate it and that someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I was confused. All I needed was one simple change. Just change my plan. It should take just a moment and some clicks. But ok. I waited. I had explained to them in the chat that I only needed to change my membership from the middle tier plan to the first plan, the 15% charge instead of the 25% one. Someone wrote back on the chat Tuesday evening and said I'm happy to help. Please explain to me the issues you're having. I wrote back and explained, again, that I only needed a membership change. I never heard back from them again. Even after texting again each day. I waited until Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm when I finally had had enough. I decided to cancel. I went online to my account management and tried to remove my banking information. It was grayed out and wouldn't let me change it. I reached out via chat; this time I went through the payment option and they were quick to respond. I guess when they think they are getting business or money, they'll respond. I explained that I wanted to cancel my account, and I got the same song and dance. Someone will respond within 24 – 48 hours. I let them know that I am requesting to have my account cancelled and I expect that no charges will come through. Especially since I wasn't ever even able to go live. I am still waiting for a response.
I wouldn't ever, under any circumstance, even get started with them. Deliver yourself, hire delivery drivers (even if you have to pay more with your insurance), walk, don't deliver, do whatever you need to do without using this company.

Tip for consumers:

They are charging the customer way too much! customers that want delivery are paying, literally, twice as much. A $7 is over $14 with fees added.
