Yes, it can be used like any other credit card. Just beware that the points you earn will be hard to redeem. This said, CITI, the bank that issues the card, offers (me at least) very valuable cash back incentives to use the card. These incentives are unrelated to Sears or the ShopYourWay catalogue.

What representatives? The only one they have is the automated one who doesn't give 2 cents for your problem. The company is a scam.

It's a scam in the sense that you can't use your points in the way they advertise. They are very few items in their catalogue you can actually buy. Most are not available for shipping, not available in your area or out of stock. That's a scam!
