Is it true that if you book a new patient appointment on Zocdoc, the doctors office is charged $50.00?

Yes, prices appear to be around $44-180 now. Offices get charged this even for cancellations, no-shows, and fake bookings. Zocdoc has no built in protections to negate this type of booking behaviors. Why would they when they profit off it? Zocdoc also prohibits practices from talking about this fee as it violates their "community standards."

Depends on the fee per provider type but i've gethered from $35 to $110 per new patient
