Such a nice app, my son likes thecMonsters in it and customisation of accessories plus he is learning so well. If he go it wrong, the monster will explain the answers. Iwant to suggest having the chosen answers more highlighted as a light yellow is not so clear.
We also share it to my niece (my sisters daughter) in my home country as it can be played by 5 kids which is really helpful and fun the competition starts as they are in the same age bracket.
So far he is playing it for a week now and it is good that that app stops in each level and asks to come back later on another day so he wont get too much screen time. If we both like it and hes not getting bored we are considering to get the app fully subscribed.
Testing was difficult, using different terminology than he was used to in some cases. Many skills he knew, but was confused how to enter his answer. Not accurate on the placement exam.
I really liked the kindergarten math material and the way the levels are structured. I tried a few levels as a trial, and they were engaging, age-appropriate, and well designed for young kids.
However, after registering and upgrading to a paid account, I faced a recurring technical issue. After completing a couple of levels, the app freezes and turns into a white blank screen. When this happens, I have to restart from the beginning and lose progress.
This issue happened twice, and after the second time, it became frustrating and I didn't try again. Because of this, I'm now considering canceling my subscription, despite liking the educational content itself.
I hope this gets fixed, as the learning material has good potential.
That take too much time for do the exercises. Too much talk. They say for play for 20 minutes per day but they talk 5 minutes at the time.
He enjoy learning different things. Especially how the brain works!
All coins lessons in maths are based on US currency. We're in the UK, so this practice makes no sense to my child. I think it will be nice to have option to switch currency based on your region.
Great in detail explanation for kids and parents. Good way to attract and keep kids busy longer. Easy to understand for kids. Problem solving issue explained well if children click incorrect answers. Best recommendation.
I have been using adaptive minds for the last 5 years with my 11 year old grandson. Now I use it with my 5 year old. I love that I can track their progress. The program is engaging and they both love it
My 5 year old and 8 year old had a great time creating monsters, playing the math games as well as following the story. Very engaging visuals and sounds that kept the kids interested to continue. I would recommend this to anyone looking to find a fun way to learn. What was hoping to see better was spelling and reading sight words and also recognizing letters and sounds. That was the main reason I searched for a game and while I did not find that here, I did find other activities for the kids to enjoy.
The program looks fun and keeps my autistic child engaged but the pricing is a little much. 10 dollar for each subject when you can get ABC mouse for 10 bucks a month: not sure if I will keep this subscription.
I am pleased with AdaptedMind. My child is engaged by the interactive learning experience and feels thrilled every time he answers correctly. After trying several learning apps, I can confidently say this one is the clear leader in quality and effectiveness.
You can only progress one level a day on there. Yes, you can do some extra learning aside from that but not very much. It should be something we can do at our child's own pace especially when there are so many different subjects within each section. For this reason alone there is a good chance I wont do the subscription since its limiting the amount of content we can get per day/month. And each individual subject requires a subscription. I dont homeschool so that seems like a lot for the purposes of having other content to use to help in different areas. We'll see. I still have a few weeks left on the free trial. When I asked my son (who's 5) if he liked it he said yes.
While the content is very good, I am disappointed in the table experience. It is not possible to go full screen and there is no number pad to enter the solution.
Yesterday was our first day on your site. Overall a pretty good experience for our 4.5 yr old grandson but had a few episodes of freezing and having to manipulate out of where we were. Also one of the exercises was just a repetition of the questions in the first 1/3 three times.
I found the site easy for my child to use and learn with. I found it easy to cancel my subscription when it was no longer needed, I found it easy to renew my subscription after cancelling to either begin from scratch or to pick up where the original subscription left off.
Additionally: It was the best site for a child to learn on that I found.
Easy to navigate. Displays various examples to strengthen the child's learning experience
We moved from Kazakhstan. Then we had been waitng for about 3 weeks to get an offer from one of the London primary schools. So, this site helps my to daughter to catch up with her studies and improve her knowldge on the main subjects.
I have about 4 children on the app and they are all on their own separate thing but for some reason, some of the questions/Videos began glitching. The video won't pop up or the question won't and then the child has to start over. Not sure if it's due to multiple people being on at once or if that's just the app itself. Thanks for listening!
I have both my kids (Grades 2 and 4) using AdaptedMind, and it's absolutely amazing! The lessons are engaging, fun, and perfectly tailored to each child's level. I've noticed real improvement in their confidence and understanding of math and reading. They actually look forward to learning now, which says a lot! Highly recommend it to any parent looking for an interactive and effective learning platform.
I found AdaptiveMind very useful to make learning fun for my 5-year-old. He especially enjoyed the math and science lessons. The activities are fun and interactive, with engaging characters and videos. The animations and rewards system really keep kids motivated, while the structured lessons help manage and restrict screen time effectively. Overall, it's an excellent platform to support learning at home.
