Customer service does not respond in a timely manner, and they make it impossible to reach them. They're charging me FULL PRICE for dresses I never received! Over $400 they're threatening me for, and are now completely ignoring me! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Online prices are not worth the hassle, at least not from here!
I customized my dress and it came HUGE! And that's because I had already reduced my size by a few inches in the waist and it looked like I was wearing a trash bag. I'm so disappointed. I'm the damn maid of honor, this is unacceptable. I've tried contacting customer service weeks ago and still no response. Probably because they can't keep track of all of the complaints. Then I read that you can't return a customized order.
Well get my size RIGHT and not do a hack $#*! job so that I don't have to return it! That's what a customized size is for!
I will not be coming back and will be telling others to stay away from this vendor.
The non customized dress I had to order off Amazon ended up being a better fit.
I had a great experience with Azazie as a bridesmaid! I used the try-on option at first to try out a few styles that I liked online. That was super helpful because a couple of those were bad fits for me, but one worked perfectly. I returned the try-on dresses and placed a custom order for my dress. I measured myself and the dress came out perfectly, I didn't need to do any additional alterations! Though Azazie will reimburse you a certain cost if you need to do alterations (not enough for some people, but would have been plenty for me since I didn't even need them). All in all, a super easy and seamless experience.
I am quite disappointed in my purchase. First thing I noticed is the bust area was so tight that I felt I was going to rip it if I breathed in too deeply. My seamstress looked at it and determined the bust was at least 2 inches smaller than what the size chart projected for a size 4. The bodice was also off, so she is fixing that for me. Only positive thing I can say is the shipping was expedient, but I would have much preferred better quality and a slightly longer wait time as opposed to what I received.
Hello Donna, thank you for your feedback and providing your order number. We will be providing feedback to our production team on this dress. As I review other reviews of the dress on our website it does appear to run a bit small and we'll see if any changes to the design are needed. Thank you, Azazie Management.
I placed an order for the My Darling Daydreamer black sequin gown, the picture on the website showed the dress had a lining, the one I received did not. It's very uncomfortable and not the kind of material you want on your skin all night. The image on the website clearly showed the dress had a liner. This is very unfortunate because I buy dresses to loan out to our local high school girls free of charge and this one was a special request. Very disappointed.
Hello Yesenia, I see the team has reached out to you regarding your dress. You can return your item for a full refund. Thank you, Azazie Management.
I just wrote another raving review about the online process of ordering with Azazie.
We first did the try it out, no cost buying as we found out that when you customize you cannot return the dress. The trial dress got delivered within 48 hours! After we saw how nice the fabric, color and fit was, we returned the trial dress and that was the easiest part. You follow the directions and drop it off at one of the recommended UPS authorized dealer. Then we went online and re-bought the dress "customized" because now we have the proper dimensions my daughter wanted. They promised it 2-4 weeks towards the end of the month so I made sure we had time for that, but it came 10 days earlier with the dimensions just right! Best of all, the customization was free, and the buying, returning and buying again process was effortless! Azazie, we hope to return next year for my daughter's Senior Prom :) THANK YOU for a great hassle-free prom dress shopping!
Hello Mary, thank you so much for sharing your experience. We appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to do so. So happy we could met your expectations and hope we can do the same for your daughter and her prom. Have a wonderful day.
Horrible customer service. The dress I ordered was 2 sizes too small. The packing slip they provided for a return had a barcode to Scan for the return label. The image is so small no one can scan it. My request for a return label by email 3 days ago has been ignored. The customer has absolutely no way to reach this company. They do not answer the phone. They do not answer email. I would rate them a negative 10 on their ability to provide a correctly sized product. I give them a negative hundred for their availability to clients. Azazie should be ashamed of themselves for their complete lack of customer service. If you read the reviews...which sadly I did not...my issues with azazie are a reoccurring theme
Hello Diana, thank you for your order information. We do apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately our CS team has been short staffed and it took longer than it should to respond. I see the team has responded to your most recent request with the necessary details. Thank you for your patience.
Do not order a dress from this unethical company. They use a terrible substandard shipping company and when my dresses were lost, they told me they couldn't do anything to help but would offer me a discount to buy more dresses. They know I have no choice but to buy from them because my bride chose a dress from their store, so they don't think they have to help. Now I'm out $350 dollars and they want me to spend $150 more to get a new dress! If they hire a substandard shipping company (SpeedX), they should ship new dresses when the first set fails to arrive.
Hello Emily, I see the Customer Service team has reached out to you several times, 3 in a row and you have yet to respond. The carrier did provide a photo of the delivery and we would appreciate and update from your end. Thank you, Azazie Management.
Sent in measurements for a custom dress. Dress is immense, and cannot be worn. Only customer service is thru online queue with long wait, or email. Any poor fitting is somehow your cost responsibility despite being "custom" fit. Others need to understand this before ordering. Likely stock fit would be a way better option which although apparently is an option it's not quite clear, does not contain standard sizes only measurements as well. Have no idea how much over the $100 cost of the dress will cost this alteration, and the process is quite frustrating.
Hello Laura,
I see you reached out to our support team today. Additional information will be requested on how we can confirm your measurements to confirm they match what was ordered. If the dress was made incorrectly we would refund you in full or begin a remake for you if you wanted. The CS team will be sending you details on how to confirm your measurements shortly. Thank you Azazie Support Team.
I had my bridesmaids order from this company at the beginning of 2020 for our June wedding. When the pandemic hit we were told that they would have issues sending out the dresses due to short staffing for quarantine. However the entire time the customer service was fantastic, and kept us completely in the loop, and still ended up delivering before the expected delivery date. I have since ordered from them several times and I cannot recommend this company enough. Their dresses are well sewn, well structured, and easy to care for. Absolutely love working with them.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out. I am so sorry it has taken time to reply but it was more difficult than it should have to reestablish our business account here. We have been experiencing delays on orders placed before January 27th and have been reaching out to those impacted with updated delivery windows. If shopping today our delivery windows are accurate but we are unable to expedite or rush any orders. We appreciate everyone's understanding during this unprecedented time.
Answer: Hello Sarah, we do recommend waiting till the dress is in stock to Try-On as you will not only incur a restocking fee but it is also worse for the environment ordering a made to order dress and returning it. If the dress is out of stock please utilize the, notify me option, as that informs our production team if we need to increase our Try-On supply. Our restocking fee structure is as follows. There is a fee of 5% for the first returned item and 10% for subsequently eligibly returned items. You can find this an all our policies in our FAQs https://support.azazie.com/hc/en-us Thank you and have a great day. For all other international customers, we charge a 10% restocking fee on returns of 3 or more of the above listed items within a 6-month period.
Answer: Hello Wendy, Other than taking the dress to a local drycleaner and have the pleats pressed the best at home way we've used to properly iron pleats are as follows. Follow these tips to iron pleats with ease: 1) Turn on your iron and set it to the appropriate setting for your fabric type. 2) Have your iron's sprayer filled or a spray bottle of water handy if needed to use during ironing. 3) Fold and/or arrange the pleats the way they are supposed to appear. As you hold them in place, you must iron over the arranged pleats beginning at the top of the pleat and working your way downward. For stubborn fabric, it may be necessary to pin the pleats in place. However, do not iron over the pins. Pull them out one at a time as you iron. Remember to iron in a top-to-bottom manner. 4) Another way to get a crisp finish is to separate the pleats and run the iron up the material hidden by the pleats. The pointy side of the iron should get up into the intersection of fabric that forms a V due to the pleat stitch. Then arrange the pleats they are supposed to appear and go through Step 3, so you can emphasize the intentional folds in the pleats with the iron. 5) When you are done ironing pleats, hang the item from its top to keep the pleats hanging straight. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team. Details on how to do so can be found in our KB here. https://support.azazie.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026475311-Contact-Us

Answer: Our dresses and accessories are made in China, with new and increasing production facilities in Cambodia and Vietnam. Many of the independent tailors we work with are family-owned businesses and come with decades of combined experience in the garment industry. Each tailor must also meet a set of quality craftsmanship standards and we work hard to ensure that our workshops are ethically responsible to become part of the Azazie family.
Answer: Unfortunately we are unable to make changes to the designs of our dresses including colors. We also don't offer rush production at this time.

Thank you for sharing your experience Rina, we appreciate you taking the time to do so and happy to hear it sounds like you utilized our custom sizing option and when measured correctly eliminates or greatly reduces the need for alterations which can run very expensive wherever you buy your dress. We do our best to help bridesmaids eliminate that cost without sacrificing on quality. Have a Happy New Year!
