This is a nice car review that gives handy information on the latest products. Whether it is about the launches or the newer technologies to be used in the car manufacturing industry for the betterment of human safety and comfort in the automobile.
Their forum is very helpful. People there really love to talk about cars and are very willing to share info. The two brothers who do the radio show are goofy but honest as the day is long, and entertaining and helpful
If you love cars. If you love sensation while driving. If yo love talking about cars then this site is for you. You can find here everything I listed above and maybe even more. You can find the car you always wanted to by on the sale list and you can sell your old junk here. You can hear the experts and you can read interesting articles.
Car Talk is more than just talk about cars. The title in no way captures the warm hilarity that is the nature of this show, which has been airing for many years now. On Car Talk, Tom and Ray, brothers from Boston, talk about cars, turning what is, to me, an uninteresting topic to something absolutely delightful. It makes no difference if you're into cars or not: Car Talk will make you listen to cars in a way you never have.
I guess you either love these guys or you hate them. My wife finds them incredibly annoying when she hears them on the radio.
Myself, I love them. Their accents are not off-putting to me, and I love how they laugh together.
What I've learned over time, though, is that the 'straight' answers they provide are actually pretty authoritative. They actually know what they're talking about, based not only on their extensive formal education but also based on their hands-on work with many, many cars.
If I personally found anything annoying, it's only their constant self-referencing which gets old. However, it's a part of their "shtick" which we would not want to do without...
The Car Discuss website is great for all kinds of car information (selling your car, solving your car, etc., there are also activities, online files of the stereo show, and you can even buy Car Discuss products. This site provides evaluation of car owners, summer and winter driving recommendations, recommendations of promoting vehicles, car cleaning recommendations etc. But I am not expected to hate CarTalk as it is exciting to read about the newest products from manufacturers.
I love car talk! If you don't you probably haven't listened to them before. CarTalk is so much more than just a website it's almost like a cult... I know I listen to their radio show every Saturday. I do like the integration with Just Answer because God knows you need answers when you car doesn't work! I personally loved it when Ashley Jud called in.
As the name implies, this is a perfect area for one who wish to buy a car. The discussions on latest models and brands help car lovers to own their dream car by knowing all features.
Such a blast listening to the hosts; helpful advice about cars delivered humorously in heavy Bostonian accents. Whenever they come up on the radio during long boring car rides, they have made those so much more pleasant and entertaining.
Sad to hear of Tom's passing on Nov 3rd.
Some people love cars. I am not one of them. However, I do love listening to Car Talk on NPR. And I really couldn't tell you why - their jokes are corny and it's not like I'm ever actually going to fix my car myself. But, the hosts are uniquely charming and the information is fascinating, so I listen. The Car Talk website is great for all sorts of car information (selling your car, fixing your car, etc.), there are also games, online recordings of the radio show, and you can even buy Car Talk merchandise.
