I was a little skeptical of the "new" botox but it seems to work the same way but it is just a little bit cheaper. Not sure how long it will last though and if it doesn't last the usual 3 months, then it won't be worth it. Right now I am happy as it was about 20% less than botox at my doctor's office.

Before trying dysport my neck pain was so severe that I couldn't ever get comfortable. My doctor suggested dysport to relax my muscles and it has changed my life. It lasts for 3-4 months so I only have to go once per quarter. I now am able to sleep comfortably go about my every day life without constant pain. I would recommend Dysport to anyone that has my condition!

Dysport is the new Botox that was recently approved by the FDA. It is also derived from botulinum toxin just like Botox, but it is a new drug recently developed by Ipsen a French company. Medicis licenses the drug and distributes it in the US along their top selling Restalyne and Perlane. This is the first real competition Botox has faced in the injectable market.
