I purchased a contract in 2024. I haven't had the need to use my contract until almost 1 year later. My vehicle had a breakdown and it immediately was brought into my local dealer. I needed a water pump and a PTU replaced. My claims were denied and I was told these were common wear and tear maintenance items and abuse on my PTU. I disputed the claim showing consumer reports, technical service bulletins and information on those parts/ systems. My dispute has been ignored and my vehicle is still broken down and now its been over a month. I bought my warranty because this company claims they go above and beyond in coverage. They claim to have great customer service. I am in a worse situation by having bought this warranty then by not ordering it. I am currently told I will receive a call by Monday March 24. I am currently asking for claim to either be approved or for my contract to be terminated and refunded. If this company will not support me as a customer when I am in need then I will not be providing them my business any longer. In my opinion the company is currently in violation of the contract in place in 2 areas. Wrongly denying claim and not covering a Contracted covered item and not responding to the dispute within 48 business hours as agreed to in the contract.

Endurance is a scam
January 15, 2025

When I took the warranty out I spoke to a very polite, pleasant person but I decided to get rid of my car in less than 1 month and cancelled. I'm trying to get my payment refunded but I'm running into rude disrespecting workers. One who even hung up on me as soon as I mention a refund. I called back again and this one told me "It's only been 3 weeks i'll have to wait 6 weeks " then abruptly hung up.This seem to be wide spread in this business and I suspect this is part of their training. If I do get a refund I don't expect a full refund. I see my review won't go through unless i pick a star.that is the ONLY reason I'm picking a 1 star.

On 12/7/23 I purchased an Endurance warranty, I have a 2008 Hummer H3, I had about 172,480 miles on it when I purchased the Endurance Secure Plus warranty, I had no idea there were different levels it was never mentioned and I didn't know to ask, I asked questions related to the age of my vehicle, they no longer make them and OEM parts can rarely be found. I asked about the transmission and engine specifically, they are the most expensive to replace, was told Endurance will cover them, that is a deceptive sales tactic right there. Then I was told they will throw in this Elite Club Membership Plan, with a name like that it's got to awesome, it has roadside assistance coverage and rental car package worth $2000, if my vehicle breaks down and I'm stranded endurance has my back, and it's free, that's another deceptive sales tactic. By nature I'm normally a trusting person, this time I shouldn't have been, I'm not totally gullible and I figured they would play with the numbers when it came to repairs and I was correct. Fast forward to 02/25, by this time I have about 207,000 on the Hummer, transmission goes out, not worried, Danica Patrick will a $4000 transmission put you out of commission not with Endurance, that is an outright untruth, they made me wait almost three days for an adjuster to come out to say yeah the transmission needs to be replaced and we will only pay $1950 of a $4700 repair. There is the playing with repair costs I knew was going to happen. Well at least they help with rental cost because I am an Elite Club member, I called to set a rental and was told I reached the full amount of my coverage and no longer eligible. Are you kidding me. So according to Endurance my car was worth $1900 and that's all they will pay. No of that is mentioned by any salesman, the nasty supervisor told me it's in my contract and she would highlight it. So I asked so Endurance is ok charging me $4511.59 for $1900 worth of coverage, was told yes sir. In my opinion their deceptive sales practices makes them liars, they knew my vehicles worth and tailored their deception and lies around it. Oh and if I didn't call about a rental they would kept charging me.

My engine light went on, I called Endurance and followed their instructions to allow the use of my repair policy. Ford dealership diagnosed the need for a new timing chain and water pump. Endurance then sent an inspector to look at the car. The inspector confirmed the need for repairs. Endurance then told me they needed receipts of my last 3 oil changes to proceed with the claim—no explanation, I inquired because I did not have the receipts. After a lot of work, I was able to get these 3 receipts from the shops they were done at. After faxing this paperwork, Ford informed me that my claim was rejected. After being bounced around with Endurance they informed me that the claim was rejected because they determined it was a pre-existing condition. We determined that my policy had a 30-day waiting period and a 1000-mile waiting period from when you purchased the policy until when it could be used. I was at 3 months and 1200 miles and therefore past the time it could be considered pre-existing. They told me that they determined that the problem had been going on longer than that and would not justify how they knew that. I told them that the engine light just went on and I immediately reported for repair! I pointed out that they can say that about any repair I file for a car that is 10 years old. They told me they cannot comment. They told me that my only recourse is arbitration, which costs $350 just to file the complaint. Water pump and timing belt repair are advertised as examples of repairs covered, I am past my 1000 miles and 1 month, it is clear that they are only interested in collecting my money and will claim any problem I have as pre-existing.

Your place is a big scam just like the rest of them. You guys don't pay nothing and you lied to people when they're signing up for your warranty. I think it's downright disgusting that you can take peoples money and then just tell him that you can't cover it's ridiculous, bad bad customer service I would not recommend this to anyone

Seems like a scam which it is. Just another way to get money outta peoples pockets. Future customers be smart and use common logic. Only great experience I had was with the last representative that helped me cancel my membership. She was very nice, and sounds like she was beautiful!

Do not recommend
October 8, 2024

I have had a frustrating experience with Endurance over several months, and I am shocked they are still in business. Their business model seems designed to profit from loopholes rather than fulfilling their obligations.

Issues with Endurance:

Overpriced: I was paying $170 per month for a plan that I later discovered I could have gotten from Car Shield for $125. I chose Endurance, believing they were more credible.

Misleading Information: When inquiring about their services, they present appealing options but later use contract language to deny claims. For instance:

Free Oil Changes: They offer this, but only with a $50 cap and a limit of three per year.
Refund Policy: Their "full refund" is actually a pro-rated refund, and only if you cancel your plan (which cannot be due to non-payment). You must also submit a notarized cancellation request.
Coverage Denials: They denied coverage for 17 out of 18 needed repairs, including my rack and pinion, which they were supposed to cover. They claimed it wasn't included due to a leaking seal, despite their website stating they cover rack and pinion issues.
Poor Customer Service: The representatives were rude, arrogant, and dismissive in our interactions, which only added to my frustration.

Overall, my experience with Endurance has been disappointing, and I would not recommend their services.
