I was in a car accident back in March and made the mistake of hiring Morgan & Morgan based on previous experiences. Unfortunately, this time around was a completely different story — and a deeply disappointing one. Over a period of five months, I only spoke to my assigned attorney, Dalilian Gutierrez, once. When we finally spoke (two months after they agreed to take the case), it was clear she hadn't even reviewed my file — asking me basic questions that had already been answered multiple times. She seemed completely unaware of the details of my case and unprepared for the conversation. I tried relentlessly to get updates from my case manager, Haley Teska, calling repeatedly with little to no response. I only managed to speak with her a handful of times, and every time it was full of empty promises and no actual progress. She told me she would arrange transportation for my treatment — that never happened. An investigator was supposed to be sent to the scene — that never happened. A scheduled call with another attorney? Also never happened. What I received in return was months of wasted time, zero communication, and ultimately a letter abruptly declining representation — with no courtesy of a phone call or real explanation. As a professional in commercial real estate, I would never treat a client this way, and I certainly wouldn't recommend Morgan & Morgan to any of my clients or colleagues at Colliers International. Extremely unprofessional and completely unresponsive — I regret ever trusting them with my case.

You do the work

I hired Morgan for my SASDI case, and they sent me a bundle of papers@ 50 to fill out and information. Morgan wanted me to do all the work, and it seemed like they were doing nothing. It was overwhelming and frustrating at the same time. I decided to fire the firm and do the process all myself. It took some time and effort on my part, but I ended up winning the case. Most attorneys are in it for the money, so don't be fooled by commercials that claim to give you the world.

After an accident in 2023 I signed up from ER. They switched me from case manager to case manager and referred me to Doctor that was charging $2500 a visit for doing basic exam. After 1yr I was told insurance was settling. Then was told another attorney in firm signed one of the other people involved with accident creating a conflict of interest. They referred me to another attorney but didn't send info from my Dr visits until I called and asked them to. Then my new attorney informed me that Morgan and Morgan didn't withdraw representation. This all caused even more delays as I await surgery. Totally disappointed. I was going to use them for another issue with VA disability but have decided to look elsewhere for representation instead since I have no faith in this firms ability to properly advocate for me.

DO NOT HIRE MORGAN & MORGAN. I was a client who had what I thought was a pretty straightforward case. I was broadsided by a PU truck and there was no dispute about who was at fault. The driver said he didn't see us and accepted full responsibility. I hired M&M to represent me and that was a huge mistake. It took endless calls, texts and emails to get anyone "on my team" to respond to me, give me updates, etc. While I was getting my medical treatments no one ever checked on, the ONLY time I ever heard from someone was when I initiated contact and only then after days and somethings weeks of trying. I too would find my "team" had changed w/o ever being told.

Finally, after 18 months of nothing, they realized there were no long term treatments required for my ailments, and no huge payout, they decided they had no use for me. To make matters worse there are new tort laws here in Florida that require a suit to be filed within 24 months. They left me holding the bag with no qualms about it. They have great advertisements, but the only people they are FOR is themselves.

Cannot be trusted

Yes my daughter called them a day after her accident, they took her on. 3 different lawyers called her over a 9 month period, then called to say they could not take her case!
You tell me why it took them 9 months to figure this out, they led her on all those months, when they could have let her know this within 2 months... VERY BAD BUSINESS ANE RUINED HER LIFE FOR 9 MONTHS. Shame on them

So much bull

I explained in detail accident online and submitted, was called immediately by a woman who put me through to a man who i went into detail what happened then he put me on hold came back and told me they didn't have any one in area after all that.

So much for the slogan, For the people not the powerful
it sickens me to think i believed in him!

I was coming home from work it was raining and it was dark and it was second shift it was at night two horses were in the middle of the road on Highway 64 Shelbyville Tennessee Walking Horse capital of the world I hit him doing 65 mph first one went in the ditch and was decapitated the second one put me in a coma for 6 months no drugs or alcohol was involved my blood test came back clean and the officer that worked the same was there for 11 minutes he left there after marking the wreck with orange paint meaning fatal went and told my family it was not my fault no drugs and alcohol was involved but I wasn't going to make it how he's the DUI writer of the year and his mother was killed by DUI driver he didn't go to Vanderbilt after I was cut out of the car and flown there by helicopter near shock and in death he takes my blood without a warrant drives to Shelbyville and sends it off to be tested he never interviewed a first responder to see what drugs they gave me when he gets the blood back he notices his mistake but he's already filled out the police report said I was drunk and high on drugs charge me with DUI then he arrest me and put me in jail 7 months later $4 million in medical damages and he never knocked on the first door to see you the horses belong to they still don't know and they still have not tried he stomped all over my constitutional rights you never know who the owners were you put me in jail and took my blood without a warrant and filled out a false police report said that he could look at me until I was drunk and high they would not even let him around me I call Morgan and Morgan needing some help it took them six months to tell me that I did not have a case because I did not know who the horse owners were they never even tried they never sent anybody never done nothing do not waste your time here unless it's easy they're not going to help you I'm I'm walking proof I am now knee deep in a 7 million dollar lawsuit my biggest regret is I didn't ask for 77 million thank you

Beware Beware
July 20, 2024

Please be careful when choosing Morgan and Morgan in Nashville, Tennessee. May case had been started by the attorney's legal assistant and had been in process for 3 weeks. Representation letters had been sent out without me being notified and I had never spoken to the attorney. All communication at this point has been with the legal assistant. Let me make this clear I have never spoken to the attorney. Then today, I go to open my email and there is an email from the Attorney that she is no longer representing me in my case after she has reviewed my information. I called Morgan and Morgan and spoke with the legal assistant who has been handling the case thus far. I asked her the question " Who sent out the letters of representation?" Her response" I did. " I followed up with the question " Why did the attorney not review all my information, decide whether she could/ or could not take my case, and then based on her decision she would then send out the letters of representation? " I was told she understood my frustration, she was sorry and I should be remedied. She also stated that " every attorney does things differently. "I really don't think that this is what a reputable attorney does. I asked to speak with the attorney and she told me she would have the attorney call me within the hour. Guess what the attorney never called and I followed up with the legal assistant an hour later. I left a message with the legal assistant to call me and that did not happen either. Please be mindful when using this firm and please do not let their legal assistants handle the preliminary work of your case. If you are not able to speak with the attorney from the get go, please go elsewhere. Lesson learned. I would give zero stars for this firm if this was an option.

No explanation after taking therapy for one year with all evidence- My case with M&M was not completed with no proof. My wife and I wasted our time, and money so frustrating. Very disappointing and frustrating. I have just received an email that the case is closed. My wife was called via phone and told the case was closed.

WE hired Morgan and Morgan to handle my husbands SS disability case. They handled it slow all right. And we were told that when the case was over they would take their fee and send us the balance.

Well, they did take their portion that is allowed by the law. And yes, they did make sure we got the balance.

Fast forward a couple years, we started getting phone calls about and "Unpaid Balance" of $68.00. When we asked about it they finally said it was for unpaid phone calls, we just iterated that all fees were taken prior to us receiving our payment. After a few calls they said that they were going to take us to court for payment. We asked to speak to a manager. We heard from no one. And now we received a threatening call saying that they would have SS review our case. They also said that we received many bills for this balance. We never received any bills only phone calls.

So beware of Morgan and Morgan

To anyone considering their services, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The initial promises of dedicated service and client care were not upheld in my experience. Save yourself the time, stress, and aggravation of dealing with a company that fails to communicate and follow through on their commitments. There are plenty of other law firms out there that will treat you with the respect and professionalism you deserve.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Morgan & Morgan and strongly advise potential clients to steer clear of this company. I hired them to handle a legal case, which was settled for $25,000. However, despite the case being resolved, I have yet to receive my settlement.

The most frustrating part has been the complete lack of communication. Janet Berry Hansberry was my case manager, and Andre Marques was the principal attorney. Once the case was settled, there was absolutely zero communication from them. I have spent countless hours trying to get in touch with someone at Morgan & Morgan, making numerous phone calls and sending multiple emails, but I have received no response whatsoever. It is unacceptable to be left in the dark with no updates or explanations, especially when it concerns such a significant amount of money.

This lack of responsiveness is not only unprofessional but also incredibly stressful and time-consuming. I trusted Morgan & Morgan to handle my case efficiently and to provide the necessary support and communication throughout the process. Instead, I have been met with silence and frustration at every turn.

Only taking cases but never delivering the service they promised. Since a 16 month period, I have been their client and nothing is going forward. The claim manager is magic. She makes notes for calls she never made. No updates. The agreed-upon methods for communication are not used. The escalation team only puts the client down and doesn't do anything to help in this. Management is never reachable. All promises are lies.
The notes from the case manager are not truth. She never contacting me and she avoid the agreed way via email.

My accident was in January. Since then was 4 case manager and 3 Laywer on this case. But only the 1. Has taking to me. Gives only promised to working on this. No one calling back, to emails not any responds, no call backs. Advertising Morgan & Morgan telling the opposite. It's not a professional behavior. It's not the amount off clients it's the work quality what makes the difference.

Hiring Morgan and Morgan turned out to be the biggest mistake.

I originally hired the firm after hearing John Morgan's very touching advertisements about how much he and his firm cares about their clients. But I found out that in my matter it wasn't the truth.

In addition to being unorganized and ineffective throughout the course of my case, my lawyers Arthur Petrousian and Erik Harper also treated me very poorly during a time when I was in need support the most. For example, my attorneys would often direct their anger and frustration at me whenever they didn't get their way with the defense. I was constantly talked down to like a child.

Mr. Petrousian and Mr. Harper also lacked accountability when making mistakes and weren't always committed. Can you believe they failed to appear at one of my court dates and never took responsibility or even apologized? At one point, Mr. Petrousian even admitted that he stopped working on my case.

It was clear to me that my attorneys didn't care about me, only how much money my case could generate. Neither one of them bothered to ever ask me how I was recovering from my injuries. Then when I once reminded Mr. Petrousian about Morgan and Morgan's motto about caring for their clients, he just scoffed at me as if I were a fool for taking the notion seriously.

What's worse was when I sought out assistance from Morgan and Morgan managing partner, Jared Wise. I quickly learned that he had as little patience as my assigned attorneys, and he lacked accountability too.

But you don't have to take my word for it. Morgan and Morgan has an executive office that is designated to field daily complaints from clients who have issues with their cases. So that in itself speaks volumes in my opinion. The problem is, when requesting help from them, I never got the sense that there was any real leadership - and wouldn't you know it, John Morgan himself was nowhere to be found.

I ended up settling my case with the Defense party out of pure frustration.

So take heed.

Bad lawyers

The Morgan & Morgan law firm are very unprofessional people they never respond to your calls I dealt with a lawyer named Reginald McIntyre he never answered my emails never responds to my calls when he did he was very unprofessional over the phone he never kept me up to date with my case and I lost my case and I found out by a third party not even by my own lawyer now to do an appeal I wanna hire another lawyer but because they do not give me a letter of release I cannot hire a lawyer I've called them numerous times regarding the letter I spoke to Mr McIntyre he said I'd get the letter in 7 days it's been past 20 days and I have not received the letter I had to go to Philly so they could send him a message so he could call me meaning I drove an hour and 20 minutes just so I could get a phone call from him again he said he sent out the letter when I asked what date did he sent out the letter he refused to tell me the date he said you'll get the letter when you get the letter so do not hire this law firm stay away from them they are very unprofessional and don't care about people's feelings or what they're going through

Questioned Law Firm

This firm appears to only accept cases when it stands to gain substantial profit rather than focusing on the clients' interests. Moreover, the representative seems ill-equipped to handle the intake process effectively. My interaction with the staff left an impression of insufficient expertise. After being transferred five times, it became clear that none of the representatives possessed the necessary knowledge. I cannot recommend spending even a minute with them.

Morgan and Morgan Prey on Slip and fall victims

This is based on my experience and opinions of Morgan and Morgan.

Morgan and Morgan use the perfect bait and switch for a quick payday.

They prey on slip and fall victims.

You sign the contract, and they will drop your case within a year, Guess what they do? They keep their lien on your case.
