They advertise "don't waste your money" then make you go through this long process just to ask for card info at the end. These guys can't tell you anything special and it's certainly not free. Scam, false advertising, terrible quality.
You WILL pay no matter how quickly you cancel free trial. AND absolutely nothing in the found information will be up to date or even correct. I searched myself just to see and the only correct info it came up with was an address from 30 years ago and my parents (long passed) old land line.
UPDATE: They did refund my money and very quickly. For this I was impressed.
Don't be scammed by this company. The $1 fee actually cost $1 plus the next month fee. I fell for the scam, sent an email the day I signed up to have them cancel my subscription. They didn't and then charged me the next month. I have ask for a refund but only get emails back saying they have cancel it now. I did the email request via their website. Not trustworthy. Don't use.

I used People Looker once and was asked to pay 1 USD. That was the only reason I provided my credit card credentials. & days later a was charged 21.51 USD for the subscription I never did! The service was useless as in the end of the day they provided the Report with the wrong name. I wrote to Customer Service but there is no answer at all, going on a week and a half now, I need my money back and I want to cancel my Peoplelook member ship immediately!

They charge you a small fee so as not to be noticed automatically.not just a one time fee. Then once you finally notice this reaccuring fee and cancel. It costs $ 32.11 to cancel through another greedy company.the service is subpar. The "hidden fees" are highly business unethical. Never again will I patronize this company!

Stay away from this site. They take money out of my account periodically even though, I have wrote multiple emails asking them to cancel my subscription, and have spoken on the phone to them, but eventually couple month's $38 is taken out of my account. Scammers

They say free on there site but you put your info in and they want $1.00 I was like alright but then they wanted more I got out of there page and moved on. I got no info from them, but they keep trying to take $21.51 out of my account. They've tried several times but I have my card locked and contacted my bank. I've emailed them and they won't respond. There just trying to steal my money. There scammers. Read other reviews on them. There not good.

Immediately seen on the first screen is a window message stating, "we respect your privacy", I mean how stupid do you think I am? You're gathering information about 1 person to give or sell to anyone who is willing to pay for it. You do realize that this is the exact opposite of respecting a person's privacy, don't you? I've sent multiple emails requesting to cancel my account, and cancel my payment, and I have received absolutely zero customer service. At this point I don't care about a refund, I just don't want to billed anymore, at this point I've just decide to cancel my PayPal account just because that's what I've was using to pay. Okay I just confirm this is a total scam I sent two email from two different emails and when they couldn't find a account under one of the emails they responded quickly almost a minute after being sent but when I sent it from the correct email no response

Sat there for 10 minutes waiting for the info to load. They then forced me to pay money after the whole ordeal if I wanted to see any of the information that took an excessive amount of time to load. They know they are scamming you which is why they try to make you wait so long so that when the information is finally available, you're so annoyed with the wait time that you pay the $1 subscription. I am not a beta, so I refused to purchase said subscription and instead came here to express my discontent. Try a different website.

Answer: They bill you even if you specifically dont sign up for reocurring billing, i gave the customer support a piece of my mind and they said they canceled my subscription but i just made a new debit card anyway id honestly just suggest doing that since they have your info already cant trust these crooks whatsoever
