Purchased 2 sets of the Gabriella dinnerware sets last March. Less than a year later, I have over 11 pieces with chips out of the edges. I provided customer service with pictures and proof of purchase only to be offered 30% off replacement order... Umm no thanks! Unfortunately, it is a beautiful set of dishes that are poor quality and not worth the money. Especially if they can't stand behind their product.

My sister loves football and has football decor all throughout her home. For christmas a few years ago I bought her a variety of the football plate options which led her to look and she was pleasantly surprised by the options. They also had great coupons and responded quickly when I needed further assistance.

I bought two 16 piece Kenna Red dishes from Pfaltzgraff in July 2020. After 2 years, the 'red' began to scratch off. I finally must discard them and buy new dishes. I called Pfaltzgraff and they said they do not warranty dishes. Too bad. Do not buy from this large company. Rating:0

Major Disappointment
November 9, 2019

I replaced my 35 year old set of Pfaltzgraff, Juniper, ironstone dishes for no other reason but I wanted a change. Chose a white and taupe banded pattern and they are now about 2 1/2 years old and look like they are 35 years old. They are scratched and discoloured and when I contracted Pfaltzgraff they said they would send a polish that would minimize the scratches. Whoever heard of having to polish their dishes. There is only the two of us who use these (we are seniors) and we are not eating with shovels but I was told that this is just what happens to these dishes. My 35 year old set is scratch free. Pfaltzgraff might have been reputable once upon a time and offered good customer service but somewhere along the line the quality of their product declined along with their service.

Buyer beware

Pflatzgraff's claim of "we'll take it back, no questions asked" is misleading! Pflatzgraff knows that the return costs are prohibitive in terms of returning the products. The cost of returning the items are nearly the same as the amount paid for them. Do not purchase unless you are sure that you will not be returning them. Customer satisfaction is NOT guaranteed. Because of return shipping costs I am forced to keep these dishes and I am certainly not satisfied!

WOW. After 35+ years of being a Pfaltzgraff customer I am so disappointed in my last purchase. I ordered over 150$ of Christmas/ holiday accessories for Plymouth / Winterberry. Items that were sent to me where such poor quality I wouldnt even rate them as seconds. I contacted customer service and their "NO HASSSEL" return policy doesnt seem to cover shoddy painting and crackled glazing. I can spend MORE money to ship it back at MY cost for a credit. I want a refund. I bought these items as gifts and can honestly find better painted and better quality items from the local Dollar Store. Their customer service has been so rude and nasty over this it is unreal. I posted a review on their site and they took it down. NICE way to do business. Lost me as a customer. :(

I specifically went looking for a site that I could use to warn people about this company. I placed a gift order for 8 place settings of dinnerware. They failed to process the order correctly and put the recipients contact information in the bill to area so they received a copy of the invoice with the gift. They failed to include the gift card and then delivered half the order to the WRONG TOWN. To make matters worse, they refused to respond to any of my eMails or phone calls to try and correct the problems. Stay away from this company. There are plenty of reputable online retailers where you can purchase new dinnerware.

Update:
Surprise... after posting this review I finally received a reply to my complaint about the misdirected delivery and they wrote back to tell me I was WRONG (despite what the UPS tracking information stated). The second half of the shipment arrived the recipients address days later with the contents BROKEN. Still waiting for a response to get this gift replaced for the recipient. Like I said, make your purchase elsewhere.

I was expecting the old quality of the company but found out that it was sold and is now being made in china.Cheap and not the quality of old...very disappointing.
