This website is the best. The ship brace and ahoy matey jokes are funny you can paste addresses into the sender's information fields, easily share labels with others, connect scales to weigh the packages. I definitely would look at this as a more efficient and easier to use options, most definitely if you use a shipping label broker full time for e-commerce, or other heavy duty mail needs. If you are using Pirateship only occasionally it might not help but it still helps to check other options.
Been using Pirate Ship for a while now without problems, suddenly the labels are printing out with colored bands in them and cannot be scanned, this is only happening with their platform no where else, CS was pretty useless, only looked up articles from Google and did not actually look into the issue, refunds take a month, I will be taking my business elsewhere., they do not want to admit when there is a glitch on their site, buyer beware
After years with Endicia (with a monthly subscription and "funny math" when looking at your usage), and after the were bought out by Stamps.com, I switched to Pirate Ship with absolutely NO regrets.
Not only is it free and user friendly, but the discounts they offer w/USPS are DEEP. In addition, for lost or damaged packages, all of my claim submissions went smoothly.
They even "felt bad" a few times and threw me a reimbursement "bone" for issues they could not fully disprove (like the time a package was "abandoned" by Italy's useless postal system and UPS was not able to come to my aid).
I HIGHLY recommend them over the competition!
I use them all the time, and I tell all my friends to shop online for the commercial pricing. Pirateship gives options across all carriers, not just USPS, so you always get the best option.
