I was looking to make some Valentine editing for my photos. I came across this recommendation from Bob J. Its not Photoshop but it has an amazing amount of the most important tools and is very easy to use. It all works so amazingly well that I was waiting for the catch where it asks me for a credit card number but it doesn't. I was able to edit and save photos on my hard disk. Its Express and Advanced versions are all just a click away. The best part is that it is free and all works within your browser so there is no downloading. This baby is a keeper!
Great experience with pixlr. It is free and has quite a lot of cool features on it. A wide variety of simple photoshop tools like red-eye retouch, picture healing feature (removes blemishes and whatever is not wanted on the pic) and more. Easy to adjust the brightness of a picture or to make other light adjustments using pixlr. Has many filters although they could add some more once in a while. Oh and also a cool feature that lets you create collages too!
If you don't have access to photoshop, it's a great substitute for simple yet urgent tasks like remove the background, crop, add text or figures. Cool! Their effect "app" is a lot like instagram.
