I received several emails stating you wanted confirmation of payment from CC company. I have not received a response from anyone that the payment has been accepted.
Your phone waiting recording is a joke and repeats the same message over and over. The wait time on the recording say I have a 10-second wait for the last 30 minutes. Really poor service.
Terrible experience. I reserved a hotel room in the morning. I kept asking for a confirmation which i got,later in the day of course it was canceled. I'm sure this company knows that this was Bait and switch and they still do it. I did get an email saying, unfortunately this room was no longer available. They could switch me to another hotel but even right now as I type this, it is still showing on travel up website that this hotel that I reserved is still available. So they will do the same thing to many others. This is nothing new I'm sure.
The confirmation code given in the email does not fit in the TravelUp app. The reservation was made wrongly with the hotel for March 6 when the Confirmation Email was correct for June 6. I had to make long distance calls to the hotel overseas to correct the errors.
Reservation fulfillment went well. Nice, clean inn, but lukewarm water, non-functioning coffee maker and refrigerator. Room sliders improperly programmed and had to request new ones via crabby receptionist. Great breakfast, but inadequate seating and no bussing or cleaning of tables.
Room was supposed to come with breakfast and they. Harvard me separately. Also I was placed in a deserted building for this reservation with inadequate lighting. I want my money back very dissatisfied!
Absolutely terrible experience. I booked a hotel stay, got confirmations and everything looked good...until I called the hotel a week later. All confirmations were invalid, the concierge told me she had never heard of confirmations being like this...none of it was real. I followed up by trying to call, on hold for an hour with the same recorded messaged and the same 19-minute wait time over and over. I finally logged into TravelUp and saw a canceled message next to my reservation...yet my credit card had been charged. None of it added up. Freezing my credit card and will never use the site again.
I found TravelUp through a search in the TriVaGo app. The process seemed seamless. It was easy to book the room and I received a confirmation e-mail to provide me with the details. I haven't yet had my hotel stay, but, so far, so good.
Pretty easy on the website. A nightmare at the hotel. Upon check in I was over charged $1800 and the people from the hotel have been unable or unwilling to solve my problem. I don´t know what to do or who to contact.
It feels odd, after reading so many bad reviews alerting that this is a scam, to have not felt received a reservation confirmation from the hotel we booked already
I was not able to change the name on the overall booking or the name on the card, the website just automatically assumed that the first name on the booking was the one responsible for all of the other rooms and the one on the card!
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
