Woodworker Express

Horrible Customer Service. Woodworker Express used to be my go-to place and at one time they had great customer service and why I always returned. I recently made a large purchase which was put on backorder. A few days later I needed some additional items, so I made another purchase and immediately sent them a request to combine the orders to reduce my shipping costs. They respond back they will not combine orders, so I counter to cancel both my orders so I can resubmit as one order. They ignored my request and 2 days later shipped half my order. They still have not responded about cancelling my back ordered items. I will definitely be finding a new hardware supplier.

I was very pleased at the affordability of the hinges I purchased from them. They beat all of their competitors and I assumed this would come at the price of non-existent customer service but I was super pleased to get an answer on the second ring and on top of that the agent was super friendly and helpful. My new go to source of hinges and hardware and whatever else I might need that they carry without a doubt. (PS, don't forget to order stews separately for your hinges, they don't come with the hinges like I assumed, haha)

I bought a kit (40 pieces) to install which would allow cabinet doors to close slowly once they are installed. Now the item they sent me had no screws included in order to intstall the closer. One has the basic idea that the screws to make the kit work would come with the devices. BUT NO FEARFUL consumer, I called the company and some runny nose kid told me I should have bought the more expensice kit of just buy 1000 screws for $33. I have no plans to erect a small outhouse with 1000 screws just the 40. Ther in tiney little letters BELOW the package I bought is another option for an additional $60 for screws included. No these mental geniuses lost more sales at least from me, by plaing childish games and trying to sqeweze and deceive customers. Oh ya, to the snot nose kid on the phone, stuff your 1000 screws till you can't sit.
