Looked at several options and liked what I saw. Decided to book our flights on exactly what was put out on your website. HOWEVER when I filled out all the information and gave my OK to charge…….suddenly I was told due to high interest in a flight in 5 months I had to pay a extra surcharge on the flight. I booked it, not happy about this….then checked the prices again on my wife's computer AND you're still showing I can book the same trip for the original price! Is this legal?
I booked the R/T air tickets for both of us from LAX to Paris. The face value of price appeared reasonable, but the purchase of seats is little too costly especially seniors like us as compared to industry standard. So, I ended up paying $312 just to book the seats. I would request you to please reconsider the charges and bring it back to industry standard. (Between $50-$60) The website is however user friendly. Twice tried to make this book. Once for an hour and a half last night.
Then about 45 minutes just now. Each time there were glitches and then, at the end, each time the price jumped massively. No way to rate this experience well.
It's maddening how services are unbundled and that even though seat selection is part of the ticket cost, there is no seat available that has a zero cost. I don't want to have to refuse all sorts of additional service, all for an additional fee, before getting my ticket.
Fast, easy and convenient but the website don't recognize me using the site as there is no login for saving my info for future use. Hence the hassle of filling up most of the info required to make a booking
I had a very disappointing experience with Go to Gate. I purchased a ticket that included additional baggage, only to be later informed that they couldn't provide the extra baggage due to a technical error. They processed a refund for the baggage only, but since I cannot travel without it, I requested the cancellation of my entire reservation and a full refund. Instead of taking responsibility, their support tried to shift the blame onto the airline to avoid accountability. Despite my follow-up emails, I received no response, and their customer support refused to escalate the issue to a manager or discuss the situation with the airline.
Even after I finished my conversation with support, I received a survey link with options that clearly indicated I did not want to take the survey!
Based on my horrible experience, I would not recommend their service at all.
I needed to compare routes and transport between Stornoway and Glasgow. GoToGate made it clear that ferry and bus routes did not work for me and allowed me to make a reservation simply and clearly. It was easier than doing that on the airline's own site.
I have not received my boarding pass details, 21 hours from flight! You need to sort this out immediately. This is the first time dealing with your company and if I don't have the details sent to me I will make sure I campaign against you.
Their web site was easy, the prices were good, the links were well marked.
The reason only 4, there was no way to request disability support, and there were a numbers of fields not requested that the airline needed that would have slowed our check-in and being disabled things that slow you can be unpleasant.
The price was comparatively cheaper. Also, the online platform is very easy to navigate and user friendly. The online payment process was easy and quick; and no hidden charges included. Finally, you get your E-ticket and payment receipt instantly when your payment is confirmed.
I think my experience with GoToGate was just awesome and I got the best service!
