They have commercials stating they are 5star healthcare and its a lie. I have never in my 44 years of life experienced such a horrible healthcare system, I did not even know bad like this existed. They are killing people and leaving people in worse health then when they first came in. The doctors are the worst I have experienced, I wouldn't even call them doctors. They are trained to pass you around form doctor to doctor and offer you only shots for pain without even placing a hand on you, behind the computer screen the entire time. They have left me with permanent pain, they have set up a system that works to cover their backs. They lie on their notes of every visit to cover themselves later. I have seen this again and again. Not one of my issues has been solved, only gotten worse. 3 months ago I popped my knee bone out of place and I am still now 3months later waiting for an appt for a simple x-ray that I requested because the doctor asked me what I want to do? Obviously no bones are broken or I wouldn't be walking around for 3months so I had to ask him for an MRI. So many issues gone worse in their care. There is no care from anyone at Kaiser. They only care for $...each appt is like a 20min time frame for them where they pass you off to the next and record things other than what happened. They try to make that 20min go by by going off into things that are common sense. Its the worst! Everyone I talk to agrees Kaiser is a nightmare. Im not sure how they stay open. DO NOT GET KAISER EVER! Trust me! They are playing with my life right now. It gets to the point where it gets so bad that you stop going in or making appts because you know its a waste of time. I have a serious issue that all my doctors know about and never any concern from any of them. They do appts like ultrasounds, find something like a tumor in you and NEVER call or contact you to tell you results or talk about what they found. You have to login online and read your own results and try to make out what they mean. Its bad!
Absolute worst healthcare I've ever experienced n my life! I have had many insurances in my life and never have I experienced such horrible doctors, communication, treatments, etc as with Kaiser. Stay far away if you can especially if you have a health concern! If you have no health issues Kaiser can seem like a good place as all their doctors are in one building on different floors making it seem Very convenient to someone who is only making routine appointments and is healthy. My experience with them has been the worst I could imagine they have their system set up so that All communication is through emails via their online portal. Even when you have a serious health issue no one seems to care no one will call you while your condition is getting worse and it is life-threatening each doctor will just want to do surgery with every little thing. If you are waiting results from a serious test Guess what no one will call you you will have to look them up yourself -When you do get the results and they are scary and you don't understand the doctors Termanology hoping for a call to discuss what they found. Negative -No one will call you to discuss your test results. No one will call you to discuss your test results. I have gone through high-grade HPV, Lyme disease, horrible fevers and sickness, Serious accidents etc and for years now I feel abandoned and helpless when it comes to the care I'm receiving which is no care at all. There has been no resolution to any of my problems most of them getting worse. I was left with a permanent pain due to their negligence during a biopsy as I was cut too deep and nerve endings were damage. I am now living with a permanent pain and constant dull achy pain that affects my mood my activities &my every day life-my doctor completely vanished after I told her about the pain she is no longer present and does not check up on me even though I have a serious health concern so I was left with no doctor I i've been spending days months years searching all the reviews looking for one decent doctor through Kaiser and after going through many I have yet to find one. Meanwhile I feel abandoned in my current situation which is serious it almost feels like you have no healthcare. Trust me they are the worst I have never developed more problems after going to the doctor but with Kaiser each and every area of concern in which I seek care from a doctor has resulted in either more serious pain or more complications or completely being ignored-most doctors could care less and if you see your primary care physician The only thing he will do is sit by a computer and try to sum up what you're telling him and passed you onto the next doctor... And trust me you will get no resolution from the next doctor either. Kaiser is the kind of place they want all their patients addicted to pain medication and performing surgeries that will cause further problems to keep the cycle going of profits for the company. I am not sure how they stay in business or how this kind of healthcare is allowed. I have given them the benefit of the doubt many times over the past couple of years and each time has ended worse than the last. There's also no when you can turn to and that there's a problem... There's no department manager there is no one who overseas the doctors when they are performing scary procedures involving cutting your insides and then when something goes wrong no one cares no one cares about your permanent pain or the fact that they ruined your life or the fact that you were better off before their medical malpractice. I would not recommend Kaiser to anyone- I have been seeking out of Netwerk doctors in which I would have to pay out-of-pocket just to get some decent healthcare
If you want to live, stay away from Kaiser. Autopsy that Kaiser told me not to get when my husband, Ron, died unexpectedly/suddenly proves, as coroner said body doesn't lie, Kaiser caused his death. Get copies of all phone conversations. Get copies of all medical records; you may be surprised to read how Kaiser wrote your records to their benefit, should an issue arise, as I have. Believe that Kaiser does not have your interest first, but theirs. This fact is documented, per Dr. Chuang, who told Ron and me that he, Dr, Chuang, put himself before his patients. Stay away from Dr. Barbara Yap (San Mateo, CA), Ron's primary who ignored all symptoms Ron and I voiced to her that she chose to ignore, causing Ron's death. Feel free to contact me for proof of what I am saying; everything I am stating here is documented. Everything I am stating here is the truth, based on all being documented, without question.
I have had a detached retina and subsequent cataract rendering me legally blind in my eye. Surgery was needed. Kaiser put me in line and made me wait 3.5 months for "elective" eye surgery. One week before surgery, Kaiser cancelled my surgery and said I had to wait three additional months. When I asked why I don't go to the front of the line since I've already waited three months, the brainwashed doctor(s) said that is not how Kaiser works. That will make six months of no work and income for my family. Why doesn't the State see Kaiser has signed up too many people, taking their 15k a year, and will not provide services. Since Kaiser is self-policed by having internal investigations for wrongdoing, they circle the wagons and keep on victimizing patients. California, step up and stop these atrocities from occurring. Stop them from signing up any more companies or patients until they can perform in a humane way.
My surgery for a non-cancerous brain tumor was cancelled 4 days before the surgery date. I had family flying from out of town and they reserved hotel rooms that were very costly due to the fact that it was about 3 hours from my home. They only do these surgeries on Wednesdays and I was told that they had a life or death emergency. If this truely is the case, then I understand. But what I don't get is how can it be a life or death if the person has to wait 4 days for the surgery? Also, why was I bumped for the next available date? That date is a month away. I am confused and anxious that Kaiser is going to do this again. It is not easy mentally preparing for a brain surgery only to be told that I have to wait for another month. I have had Kaiser on and off (depending on work benefits) for 38 years. They use to be great. I have had some good and mostly poor experiences with Kaiser. Needless to say, I have no trust in them at all.
Got the run around to x rays, to a specialist who refused to even touch my finger.
Went home a squeezed out the splinter myself.
You will only get help if you go to the ER and pay the high co pay.
Doctors are useless. No clinic to go to, to actually get any kind of treatment.
Just take your premiums and co pays every time you see a "Dr."?
80% Indian Doctors who got their licenses in India. ( need I say more)
I've had Kaiser for 20 years. Each year it gets worse to the point I now consider it sub-par insurance. You'll be lucky to make an appointment with your Primary Care provider. Specialty appointments like dermatology are months out. Worst of all they have lost lab samples of mine on several occasions. Once, I even ended up in the hospital with sepsis because of their negligence. It's fine if you just need to go to urgent care once a year...albeit, it will be a long wait. Luckily, I will be changing insurance. It's unfortunate how bad it's gotten.
Kaiser allows one to change doctors for any reason if they are not satisfied. I found one who is very good and I feel fortunate to have him He listens. He is friendly He makes referrals when necessary. Delta Dental insurance saved me thousands of dollars
I recently had a procedure and I was originally so afraid. The nurses held my hand and assured me that everything would be fine. Before i knew it, it was over. So much after care support. I am very happy at Kaiser
Next time you call Kaiser say pay Premium or ask for the billing department, you will get a representative immediately. If you like this advice, push the like, or helpful button to let me know you got through to someone.
Wish I could give 0 stars but that's not an option. After signing up for Kaiser a little over a year ago my experience has been absolutely miserable. Trying to actually use Kaiser services is more traumatizing than the sickness or ailment itself - you have to jump through hoops for EVERYTHING and end up facing a staff full of attitude because they're overworked amongst all the chaos and disorganization. If you're ever faced with signing up for Kaiser, RUN! January can't come soon enough to switch plans. Shame on you, Kaiser.
Answer: Scam. I left a review of my personal experience on a different posts. Basically they don't mind taking money from you as long as you don't need help.
